This month’s review is on a gift product that’s very unique and is ideal for pet enthusiasts of all kinds. It captures an essence of you and your animal companion like no other in a way that can give you a very special feeling inside.
It’s called The Papered Orb.
When I first read about this company my perception was that they have a passion for their craft and integrity to boot, which is a wonderful combination. I immediately decided to give them a try because it looked like a perfect fit for something we could present to our readers.
The only catch was that they specialized in dogs and cats. I felt it would be a great opportunity for them to venture into the horse world if they hadn’t already.
Diane and Paula are the owners of the The Papered Orb. Diane extended a wonderful offer to us when we said we would like to do a review of their product. They were very generous and created a special Papered Orb just for me with pictures of my horses Ransom, Dillon and Faith.
Since this is a handmade product tailored special for you and your animal companion, it takes a little time to receive your order depending on which size you purchase. Mine took about 3 weeks from creation to getting it into my hands.
What is a Papered Orb?
The Papered Orb is a beautiful hand designed decorative ornament that expresses the special qualities of your animal(s) and radiates the love you have for them.
As an added bonus, it’s shatterproof.
It’s hard to imagine that something called an ornament is shatterproof. That was my first thought. However, it’s very durable, but I wouldn’t try and bounce it on the floor like a basketball. 
All I can say is that it’s difficult to do it justice from pictures. There are no two that are alike, as it should be, since no animal or relationship with that animal is cookie cutter.
The Order Process
The Papered Orb website makes it very easy to provide the necessary information for designing an orb of your animal companion. It gives great directions and provides a way for you to upload the pictures you would like included on your orb.
My Specially Designed Orb
Since I have three horses, I didn’t want to just include one of them. I ended up picking one picture of Ransom and me, face shots of Dillon and Faith and one of my favorite pictures of all three of them together.
To add a little more flare, Diane asked for an additional picture of something other than the horses that would be horse related. I immediately thought of a wonderful picture my sister had taken at the farm when she was visiting. It was a picture of the sun setting in the background of the entrance gate.
It wasn’t the gate as much as what was on the gate that was special… a large Texas star!
That ended up being a perfect fit for finishing out the orb design.
Receiving The Orb
I couldn’t wait to receive my orb, and it was delivered just in the nick of time for this review. The day it arrived I was really excited to open the box. When I first picked it up it, felt so light like nothing was in it.
Inside the box was a wonderful card addressed to both Sharon and me from Diane and Paula and a gift box that contained the orb.
The card was so thoughtful!
Inside the gift box, the precious orb was delicately packed. As I took it out, my first impression was an overwhelming feeling of thoughtfulness and love. The orb not only expressed my passion and love for my horses but an energy that is genuine, imaginative and artistic.
Diane and Paula really outdid themselves. They are so creative!
My special orb came with it’s own stand so I can easily display it.
